Bears are in the area. On Thursday afternoon (June 29), a bear was sighted in a backyard near the south end of Lucille Blvd. Bears have also been recently seen in the woods of Kennedy-Dells Park, and there are warning signs at the entrance to the park’s trail. Please be alert when out and about, especially with kids or pets. Off-leash pets may be particularly vulnerable to an encounter.
